Planthoppers
Barsac Fletcher, 1988
Type species: Barsac cinerascens Fletcher, 1988
Fauna Portal Genus Number: 1413
(after Fletcher 1988): Barsac shows affinity with Massila. The rounded apex of the tegmen and the brown coloration make members of this genus quite distinctive. The outwardly curved paramere process is also a characteristic of the genus. Three of the four described species of Barsac are restricted to the arid areas of Australia.
