(after Platnick 2002): Males resemble those of M. tambo in having dorsally directed spines present on the retrolateral tibial apophysis, but can be distinguished by the subdistal embolar expansion; females also resemble those of M. tambo in having a relatively long, narrow epigynal atrium, but have the atrium restricted to the anterior portion of the epigynum and smaller, basally wider spermathecae.
