(after Raven 2008): Males of T. mcdonaldae differ from those of T. gloverae by the absence of a sclerite in the tegular window and only two pairs of spines ventrally on metatarsi I, II; in females, the median septum of the epigyne is similar to that of T. gloverae but the lateral procurved ridges are set much more posteriorly.
