(after Raven 2015): Males differ from those of P. carnarvon in having three pairs of strong spines ventrally on tibia I rather than four pairs of weak spines; also, the curvature of the carapace profile in P. jilbadji is similarly curved on either side of midpoint whereas in P. carnarvon it is more or less flat from the fovea forward. The female epigyne is a simple plate with two circular openings.
