Missulena
Spiders in the genus Missulena are easily recognised in Australia as they are the only mygalomorph spider genus with widely spaced eyes that almost cover the whole width of a distinctly raised frontal cephalothorax region. Males of many species have distinct colour patterns of red chelicerae and sometimes whole head regions and a blue-ish abdomen, although plainly brown or black species exist. In coloured species, females may also show orange to reddish chelicerae, but generally much less distinct than in males.
Miglio et al. (2014) provide a key to the males of Missulena of all species known until then.
