Tmarus FP-14797 is similar to Tmarus FP-13421. Males differ by the retrolateral apophysis of the pedipalp of which the dorsal branch is much less complex. Females can be separated by the position of the spermathecae in relation to the anterior epigyne hood, which is posterior in Tmarus FP-14797 but lateral in Tmarus FP-13421.
