(after Crews & Harvey 2011): Males of K. ellenae can be separated from others by the irregular shaped and unsclerotized median apophysis, and the conductor has a pointed projection terminally. Females of this species can be distinguished from others by the medially located copulatory organs and the widely spaced epigynal pockets.
