Diagnosis
In Australia, this species is due to its dark colour – particularly in females – and small size, most similar to Dictis striatipes. It differs from that species by the presence of a third tarsal claw. In females, the epigynal pockets are much more pronounced. Males are easily distinguished by the presence of strong macrosetae in the anterior half on the sternum.
