Typical Acanthodillo species. Dorsum with prominent sculpting. Frontal ridge smoothly curved and raised form vertex of head. Well-developed interlocking lobe structures on pereonites 1 and 2.
This species can currently not be diagnosed morphology. Both the pattern and degree of dorsal bumps can vary interspecifically, particularly between juveniles and adults. This species is diagnosed by molecular data (COI barcode).
