The pedipalp of Oxyopes FP-14883 shares with that of Oxyopes FP-6128 a small, triangular tooth laterally on the tibia. However, the colouration of Oxyopes FP-14883 is much more distinct. The pedipalp morphology is otherwise difficult to differentiate as it is slightly expanded and twisted in the bulb. This species is found outside the general distribution of Oxyopes FP-6128. The female is currently unknown.
