(after Raven et al. 2023): Males of Knotodo differ from those of other non-stripe miturgines by the slender embolus base directed posteriorly, with embolus thin along prolateral diameter of bulb and lying in same line as the long, slender median apophysis, and the retrolateral tibial apophysis consisting of two trianguloid plates restricted to the base of the cymbium, each joined by unsclerotised zone.
