(after Malipatil 2014): Differs from Neomeschia by clavus punctuate with three more or less complete rows (almost complete outer rows and remainder of inner area in irregular pattern in Neomeschia); hamus completely absent (hind wing with hamus developed as complete vein in the discal cell in Neomeschia) and pronotal calli with indistinct smooth groove (distinct in Neoeschia).
