Driedfruit Beetles
Nitidulidae
(after Hangay & Zborowski 2010): Nitidulids are usually black or brown, some with yellowish markings on the elytra. Their body is usually broad and somewhat flattened, and they are generally 1-7mm in length. The head is prognathous with 11-segmented antennae and a3-segmented club. Elytra are infrequently short, but may expose 2 or 3 abdominal segments. Tarsal formula is 5-5-5.
