Hairy Fungus Beetles
Mycetophagidae (Leach, 1815)
(after Hangay & Zborowski 2010): Mycetophagids have flattened bodies that are generally oval in shape, brown in colour, are covered in setae, and are 1.5-4mm in length. Their head is somewhat triangular and is visible dorsally. Antennae are 11-segmented with a 2 or 3-segmented club. Tarsal formula is 4-4-4, 3-4-4 in males.
