Armoured Spiders
Tetrablemmidae
(after Framenau et al. 2014): Armoured Spiders (family Tetrablemmidae) are characterised by their small size – they are amongst the smallest of spiders – and the presence of distinctive lateral sclerotized plates between the dorsal and ventral main plates (scutes) of the abdomen.
The Armoured Spiders are a tropical family of very small species and only three species in the genus Tetrablemma are described from Australia.
