(after Chandler, 2001): Head with frontal and vertexal forveae; frontal rostrum prominent and narrow; with spines ventral to eyes; second segments of maxillary palpi with lateral spines; third and fourth segments angularly extended laterally, angulations with small pencils of coalesced setae at apices, fourth segments with small sensory areas at angularly rounded apices. Pronotum with sulci filled with squamous setae extending from antebasal foveae to base. Abdomen with visible tergite 2 (V) longest.
