Species belonging to the tribe Brachyglutini (subtribe Brachyglutina) that cannot currently be allocated a genus.
(after Chandler, 2001): Head with median gular carina distinct to lacking, lacking a deep gular fovea near mouthparts. Metasternal coxae widely separated. Abdomen with first four visible tergites (IV-VII) margined, with at least single lateral suture indicating lateral margin of paratergites.
