Massila FP-919 is currently the only species of the genus found on Barrow Island, where this species is known from.
The species was initially identified in 'c.f. Massila' by taxonomic experts and may therefore not be a true Massila.
External illustrations of genitalia (terminalia) cannot be used to identify planthoppers at the species level; male genitalic preparations are generally required. These illustrations here only serve to facilitate to determine the sex for the user.
