Diagnosis
Steatoda FP-6157 males have a thin, moderately large coiled embolus. The pedipalp is also characterised by an apically directed spine-like process on the base of the embolus. The median apophysis is drawn out into a pointy tip. The female epigyne has a small, dark hood-like structure centrally, somewhat in the anterior portion of the epigyne.
