Diagnosis
Steatoda FP-14229 is very similar to Steatoda FP-6157 but the male pedipalp differs by the larger embolus coil. There is no apophysis at the base of the embolus and the pronounced lobe on the median apophysis is round. In addition, the pale sections basally on the femora are comparatively shorter.
