Beautiful Lynx Spider Oxyopes amoenus L. Koch, 1878
Fauna Portal species: 8295Diagnosis
(after Baehr et al. 2017): Males of Oxyopes amoenus are similar to those of O. punctatus in having a long retrobasal, hooked cymbial process (paracymbium) but can be distinguished by the different shape of the tegular apophysis. Females of O. amoenus are similar to O. molarius but can be separated by the shorter straighter lateral lobes and the 3 coils, which are clearly visible apically of the T-shaped scapus.
