Diagnosis

(after Burger et al. 2010): Tetrablemma alaus is easily distinguished from all other species of Tetrablemmidae (except for Bacillema leclerci fromThailand) by the complete lack of eyes or eye-spots. It differs from B. leclerci by the much shorter legs.
