The wolf spider Venatrix australienses was the 300th spider species uploaded to the Fauna Portal. We continue as current priority uploading species of research interest to the Harry Butler Institute, Murdoch University, the host of the Fauna Portal. Described species are being continuously added as these are important to diagnose undescribed species, the main aim of the Fauna Portal being documenting unknown invertebrate fauna.
